Prompt Generator (trypromptgenerator.com) is run by GrubGuru Ltd., a company registered in British Columbia, Canada. In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean GrubGuru Ltd., and "you" means the person using the site. When you use Prompt Generator, with or without an account, you agree to these terms, to the Privacy Policy and to the Refund Policy. If you do not agree to them, please do not use the site.
What Prompt Generator is
Prompt Generator has two parts that share one account and one credit balance.
- Prompt tools. You describe an idea, or upload an image, and the tool writes a prompt for the AI product you pick, such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, DeepSeek, Grok, Midjourney, Nano Banana, GPT Image or Veo. You copy the prompt and use it wherever you like. The prompt library, the public gallery and favorites belong to this part.
- The studio. You run image, video and audio prompts on AI models hosted by other companies, which we reach through gateways (OpenRouter and fal). Studio runs cost credits.
The models behind both parts are built by third parties. We may add, change, reprice or retire tools, models, targets and features at any time, and a model can be slow or unavailable when its provider is. We do not promise that a particular tool, model or feature will remain on the site.
Accounts
You can use the prompt tools without an account. To save prompts, use the studio, share to the gallery, earn credits or pay, you need one.
- You must be at least 18 years old.
- Sign up with an email address that is yours and that you can read. Keep your password secret. An account made with an email and password can run tools, use the studio, share or pay only after you open the confirmation link we send to that address.
- One person, one account. Do not create extra accounts to get more free runs or free credits.
- You are responsible for what happens under your account. If you think someone else is using it, tell us through the contact page straight away.
Free use and daily limits
The prompt tools come with a free daily allowance. The number of free runs depends on whether you are signed in and is shown in the tool. Without an account, runs are counted per device and per network; with a free account, they are counted per account. The allowance resets at 00:00 UTC each day.
When a free account has used the day's allowance, each further run costs credits. Paid plans include prompt tool runs without a daily cap. Every account and device is subject to rate limits that stop bursts of automated or repeated requests.
Credits, plans and payments
Credits are how you pay for studio runs and for prompt tool runs beyond the free allowance. Each studio run shows its credit cost before you start it. Credit prices of models can change, but a change never affects a run that has already started.
- Plans. Subscriptions add credits every billing period and include prompt tool runs without a daily cap. Current plans and prices are on the pricing page. A subscription renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel it on your billing page. Taxes may be added at checkout.
- Top-ups. You can buy extra credits with a one-time payment.
- Lifetime. A one-time payment that is never billed again. It includes the prompt tools for as long as we run Prompt Generator, with a fair-use limit of 1,000 runs a calendar month and at most 100 in one day (further runs cost credits), and 10,000 credits that are valid for 12 months from the payment. It does not cancel a subscription you already have. If the payment is refunded in full, Lifetime ends and its unspent credits are removed.
- Lifetime fair use. Lifetime is for one person's own use. Automated or scripted runs, and sharing or reselling access to the account, are not allowed. We may use a different model for runs beyond a daily number, and we may ask you to confirm you are a person after many runs in a short time. We may change the run limits or the models used, with 30 days' notice by email. If an account breaks these rules, we may suspend its Lifetime prompt runs; credits you bought stay in your balance.
- Price changes. If we raise the price of your subscription, we will tell you before the renewal that first charges the new price, so you have time to cancel.
- Expiry. Credits you buy or get with a plan do not expire, and they stay in your balance if you cancel. The only credits that expire are daily check-in credits, which run out 30 days after you claim them, and the credits that come with Lifetime, which run out 12 months after the payment (both are spent before your other credits).
- No cash value. Credits are a prepaid right to use Prompt Generator. They cannot be sold, transferred to another account or exchanged for money, and they are refunded only as the Refund Policy or the law allows.
- Failed runs. When a run fails, the credits it took go back to your balance automatically. The Refund Policy has the details.
- Your own API key. If you add your own OpenRouter or fal key, studio runs on that gateway use your key instead of your credits, and that provider bills you under its own terms.
Payments are handled by Stripe. We do not see or store your full card number.
Free credits and rewards
Prompt Generator gives credits away in a few ways, all described on the free credits page: 60 credits once for a new account after its email address is confirmed, a daily check-in, rewards when someone you invite makes a first purchase, a reward when a template you suggest is added to the prompt library, and a reward for reviewing Prompt Generator on the review sites listed there. These rules apply to all of them:
- Free credits are a gift. They have no cash value and are never refunded.
- A referral pays out only once per invited person, and only for a genuine new customer. Inviting yourself, or using fake or shared accounts to collect rewards, is not allowed.
- Review rewards are for honest reviews of your own real use, one per review site per account. You send us the link to your published review through the support widget; we check that the review is published and written by you before we add the reward. You get the reward whatever rating you give, and you must say you received credits wherever the review site asks. We may refuse a review that is fake, copied, written by someone else or sent from more than one account. If a review we paid for is removed, we may take back the reward credits you have not spent and tell you why.
- We may change or end any free credit program for the future, and we may remove credits that were collected by breaking these terms.
What you put in
You keep whatever rights you have in the text, images, video and audio you submit ("your input"). So that we can run the service, you give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store your input, process it and send it to the AI providers that run your request. If you share something publicly or suggest it as a template, the license also covers showing it as described in "Sharing, the gallery and templates" below.
You confirm that you have every right and permission needed for your input, and that using it on Prompt Generator breaks no law and no one else's rights.
Likeness and consent
Some studio tools work from photos of real people: face swap, headshots and photoshoots, kiss, hug and dance videos, lip sync, the baby generator and the age predictor, among others. Image to prompt also accepts photos. These tools can change how a person looks or show them doing something they never did, so:
- Only upload a photo of a person if it shows you, or if that person has agreed to this use of their photo.
- Tools that put two people together, such as kiss and hug videos or the baby generator, need the agreement of every adult in the photos.
- Only a parent or legal guardian may upload a photo of someone under 18, and never for kissing, hugging, romantic, sexual or violent content.
- Never use someone's likeness to trick, harass, embarrass or impersonate them, and never pass off a result as a real photo or recording of something that happened.
- If the law where you publish requires AI-made media to be labelled, label it.
If your likeness appears on Prompt Generator without your agreement, tell us through the contact page. We will look into it and take it down.
Content policy
You may not use Prompt Generator to make, upload, request or share:
- any sexual content involving a person under 18, or anything that sexualizes children. We report it to the authorities.
- sexual, nude or intimate images of a real, identifiable person, or any intimate image made or shared without consent.
- harassment, threats, bullying, or content that stirs up violence or hatred against people or groups.
- graphic violence, encouragement of self-harm, or praise of terrorism or violent extremism.
- deepfakes or other material designed to mislead people about real events, elections, public figures, or who said or did something.
- material that infringes copyright, trademarks or other rights, or that impersonates a person or organization.
- fraud, scams, spam, malware or anything else illegal.
Prompts, uploads and results are checked automatically, and some are reviewed by people. Model providers run their own checks too. We may block a prompt or file, refuse or stop a run, hide or remove anything shared publicly, pause generation for an account, and suspend or close accounts that break this policy. Credits for runs rejected by a provider's safety filter are refunded only within the limits in the Refund Policy, and we may take back credits gained by abusing refunds. Each model provider's own usage policy also applies to runs on its models.
Anything shared publicly must meet a stricter standard: nothing adult or 18+, graphic or about self-harm goes on public pages, even when it was allowed in your private history.
To report a public item, use Report on its page or send us a message through the contact page.
Fair use of the service
Do not scrape or copy the site in bulk, send automated requests outside the normal app, work around daily limits, rate limits, content checks or payment, resell the service or share your account, disrupt Prompt Generator or other users, or try to reach data that is not yours. You may not use the prompt tools to build a competing prompt service or dataset.
Sharing, the gallery and templates
Everything you make is private until you choose to share it.
- The gallery. When you share a prompt or a studio result, it appears on the public gallery with its prompt and the target or model, where anyone can view and like it. Your name and email are not shown. You can unshare it at any time, and it leaves the gallery.
- Template suggestions. You can suggest a saved prompt or a studio result as a template for the prompt library. If we accept it, we may edit its title, description and categories and publish the prompt, together with an image or video result if there is one, as a library entry. Uploaded input photos are never published this way. Because the library is built from accepted entries, you give us a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free license to keep, adapt and display an accepted template, even if you later close your account. Accepted templates earn the credit reward shown when you suggest them; rejected ones earn nothing. We decide what goes into the library.
Before anything becomes public, it passes our publishing check. We may refuse, hide or remove public items at our discretion.
Results and ownership
Prompts. Prompts written for you by the prompt tools are yours to use for any lawful purpose, including commercial work. You may also copy prompts from the prompt library and use them in your own work, but do not republish the library, or large parts of it, as a collection.
Studio results. Between you and us, you own the images, videos and audio you create in the studio, as far as the law allows, and we transfer to you any rights we have in them. Results made while you have a paid plan, or after you have bought credits, may be used commercially. Results made only with free credits are for personal, non-commercial use.
The law on AI-generated material is still developing, and a result may not be protected by copyright at all. Someone else can get a similar prompt or result from a similar request. You are responsible for how you use what you make, including making sure it does not infringe anyone's rights, such as a trademark or a real person's likeness that ends up in it.
Other AI tools
Prompt Generator writes prompts for AI products made by other companies. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by them, and their names and trademarks belong to their owners. A prompt is a suggestion: we cannot promise how another product will respond to it. When you use a prompt in another product, that product's own terms and policies apply.
AI output can be wrong
Prompts and results come from AI models. They can be inaccurate, incomplete, distorted, unlike your photo or unsuitable for your purpose. The baby generator and the age predictor show imagined pictures for fun; they do not predict how a real child will look or how a real person will age. Nothing on Prompt Generator is professional, medical, legal or financial advice. Review what you get before you rely on it or publish it.
Our property
The site, the app, its code and design, our own library prompts and renders, and the Prompt Generator name and logo belong to us or the people who license them to us. Apart from using the service under these terms, you get no rights in them. If you send us ideas or feedback, we are free to use them without paying you or crediting you.
Suspension and closing accounts
You may stop using Prompt Generator whenever you like and ask us to delete your account, as the Privacy Policy explains. Credits left in an account are lost when it is deleted.
We may suspend or close an account, with or without notice, if it breaks these terms, misuses payments (including a chargeback for a charge you made), puts other people or the service at risk, or if the law requires us to. Credits in an account closed for breaking these terms are forfeited. If we close your account when you have not broken these terms, or if we shut Prompt Generator down, we will refund the unused part of the credits you paid for.
Disclaimers
We provide Prompt Generator "as is" and "as available". As far as the law allows, we give no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not promise that the service will run without interruptions or errors, or that any prompt or result will meet your expectations.
Limitation of liability
As far as the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill, that arise from your use of Prompt Generator or of anything it produces. For all claims together, our total liability is capped at the higher of what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and 50 US dollars.
These terms do not limit any liability that the law does not allow us to limit, and they do not remove rights you have as a consumer under the law of the country where you live.
Indemnity
If a third party makes a claim against us because of something you submitted, generated or shared, or because you broke these terms, you will compensate us for the reasonable losses and costs that result, as far as the law allows.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, setting aside any conflict of law rules. Disputes go to the courts of British Columbia, Canada, unless the law of the country where you live lets you bring a claim in your local courts. Before you start a claim, please contact us through the contact page so we can try to settle it first.
Changes to these terms
We may revise these terms, and the date at the top shows the current version. For a material change, we will give at least 14 days' notice by email or on the site before it takes effect. If you keep using Prompt Generator after that, the revised terms apply to you. If you do not accept them, stop using the site and cancel any subscription.
General
Together with the Privacy Policy and the Refund Policy, these terms are the entire agreement between you and us about Prompt Generator. If any part turns out to be unenforceable, the rest stays in force. If we do not enforce a term straight away, we have not given up the right to enforce it later. You may not transfer your account or these terms to anyone else. We may transfer them if the business is sold or reorganized.
