Melting is a texture effect, so the subject matters more than the face. Objects with a clear outline against a plain background (a candle, an ice cream cone, a chess piece, a mug, a toy figure) give the cleanest melt, and bright colours make the puddle more satisfying to watch. On a portrait the result turns surreal quickly, which works for a meme and not for a profile video.

Four seconds is enough for the full collapse from solid to puddle. For a slower clip, ask for "melting slowly, the top half still standing at the end" in the details field. To choose the look, name the material: "melting like chocolate", "melting like hot glass" or "melting like a crayon in the sun".
