What each part of the prompt does
- Pour from out of frame
- The syrup arrives from above with no jug or hand in shot, which keeps the frame clean and avoids a hand that looks wrong.
- Backlight on the syrup
- Window light from behind makes the syrup glow amber as it runs. Lit from the front, it reads as a dark brown sauce.
- Low side angle
- At plate height the stack looks tall and the drips run down the side toward the camera, the angle food creators reach for when filming pours.
- Butter as a stage
- The butter gives the syrup a place to land and a second motion as it melts, so the clip has a small chain of events.
Variations to try
Same idea, one thing changed. These have no clip yet.
Honey on waffles Two golden waffles on a white plate with sliced strawberries, on a linen cloth on a wooden table. Motion: slow motion, a ribbon of honey falls from above the frame and folds into the waffle squares. Camera: high angle, slow push-in on the filling squares. Setting and light: soft morning window light from behind, the honey glowing. Style: satisfying food video, warm colours, crisp detail. Sound: a soft pour. Duration: 5 seconds, vertical 9:16.
Chocolate sauce A tall stack of fluffy pancakes on a dark plate with raspberries, on a dark wooden table. Motion: slow motion, glossy dark chocolate sauce pours from above the frame and runs down the sides of the stack. Camera: low side angle at plate height, still. Setting and light: one warm light from the side, deep shadows, glossy highlights on the sauce. Style: moody food video, rich dark tones. Sound: a thick, slow pour. Duration: 5 seconds, vertical 9:16.
If the result isn't right
- Raise the camera slightly and leave the top third clear for a recipe name or a price.
- If the stack collapses or multiplies, add "five pancakes, neatly stacked, the stack stays still".
- Swap the blueberries for strawberries or banana slices to suit the season, and keep the syrup and light lines unchanged.
