Veo 3.1 Fast is the quicker, lower-cost tier of Google's Veo 3.1. It keeps the sound and runs at 720p through OpenRouter for 155 credits a second, a quarter of the full model. Clips are 4, 6 or 8 seconds in 16:9 or 9:16, from text or from start and end frames. It is the default model of the video generator tool.

155 credits per second of video: a 4-second clip is 620 credits and a 8-second clip is 1,240. If a run fails, the credits go back to your balance; runs stopped by the model's safety filter are refunded up to 10 times a day.
