What each part of the prompt does

Different speeds
Asking for each balloon to rise "at its own speed" is what makes the sky look alive. When every balloon moves in step, the clip reads as one flat layer sliding upward.
Mist below, balloons above
Two kinds of slow motion at two heights give depth to a wide frame. The mist moving sideways under rising balloons separates the valley floor from the sky without any cut.
Parallax from the rocks
Near rock towers passing in front of distant balloons are the cue that the camera is really moving through space. Without something close to the lens, a drifting camera on a wide landscape looks like a zoom.
One burner sound
A single distant burner roar is a detail people recognise from balloon flights. Keeping it to one keeps the soundtrack quiet enough to sit under music or a voice-over.

Variations to try

Same idea, one thing changed. These have no clip yet.

  • Vertical for Reels

A wide valley of pale volcanic rock pinnacles at sunrise, a dozen colourful hot air balloons floating above it at different heights. Shot 1: low angle from the valley floor between two rock towers, balloons rising slowly into a pale peach sky, mist drifting at the bottom of the frame. Shot 2: the camera tilts up to follow the highest balloon as it catches the first direct sunlight. Setting and light: low sun from the right, warm gold on the rock faces. Style: cinematic travel film, calm and airy, soft haze. Sound: a quiet breeze, one distant burner roar. Duration: 5 seconds, vertical 9:16.

  • Blue hour before sunrise

A wide valley of pale volcanic rock pinnacles just before sunrise, a few hot air balloons glowing from inside as their burners fire. Shot 1: wide shot from a ridge, the balloons pulse with warm orange light as they begin to lift off the valley floor. Shot 2: the camera drifts forward slowly as the sky behind the ridge turns from deep blue to pale pink. Setting and light: cool blue twilight, the burner glow is the only warm light. Style: cinematic travel film, quiet and still, soft haze. Sound: burner roars, a light breeze. Duration: 5 seconds.

If the result isn't right

  • If the balloons drift sideways like clouds, say "balloons rise straight up, slowly" in Shot 1; video models often borrow wind motion from the mist.
  • A crowded sky turns into noise at this size. Around a dozen balloons keeps each one readable; ask for "five balloons" if you want them bigger in frame.
  • Balloons with real logos or words on the envelope come out garbled, so describe them by colour and pattern, such as stripes or panels, and add text in your editor.
