How the Baby It effect works
Default: Veo 3.1 Lite, 4 seconds, 9:16, 320 credits (80 credits per second).
The model keeps what makes a face recognisable at any age (eye shape, hair colour, skin tone) and rounds off everything else: fuller cheeks, a smaller nose, a shorter face. That works best from a straight-on, evenly lit photo of an adult with nothing covering the face. Sunglasses, hats and heavy beards leave less to carry over, and the baby ends up looking like any baby.
