What each part of the prompt does
- Santa at eye level
- Santa kneeling "down to the child's height" puts both faces at the same level and keeps the scene gentle rather than towering.
- The letter as the moment
- A folded handwritten letter gives the picture its story and gives the child's hands a clear task.
- Name on the stocking
- [CHILD NAME] on the stocking cuff makes the picture personal without putting text near the faces.
- Magical but realistic
- "Magical but realistic, real photograph" keeps the warm storybook mood while stopping the model from turning the child into a cartoon.
Variations to try
Same idea, one thing changed. These have no example image yet.
Sitting on Santa's sleigh Keep the child's face from my uploaded photo exactly as it is. Show the child sitting beside Santa Claus on his red sleigh in the snow, both waving at the camera, reindeer in front. The child wears red pajamas and slippers, with a blanket over their knees embroidered with "[CHILD NAME]". Snowy pine trees and warm lantern light, magical but realistic, real photograph, 4:5 frame.
Reading together Keep the child's face from my uploaded photo exactly as it is. Show the child in Santa's workshop on Christmas Eve, sitting beside Santa Claus in a big armchair while he reads them a picture book, both smiling. The child wears red pajamas and slippers, and a stocking with "[CHILD NAME]" stitched on the cuff hangs on the fireplace behind them. Toy shelves, wrapped presents and a sleepy cat by the fire, warm golden light, magical but realistic, real photograph, 4:5 frame.
Elf helper Keep the child's face from my uploaded photo exactly as it is. Show the child in Santa's workshop on Christmas Eve, helping Santa wrap a present at his workbench, holding the ribbon while he ties the bow. The child wears a small green elf hat and red pajamas, and a stocking with "[CHILD NAME]" stitched on the cuff hangs on the fireplace behind them. Toy shelves, wrapped presents and a sleepy cat by the fire, warm golden light, magical but realistic, real photograph, 4:5 frame.
If the result isn't right
- Only upload photos of your own children, or with their parents' permission.
- If the child looks older or younger than in the photo, add "same age as in my photo".
- When Santa looms too large, ask for "Santa smaller in the frame, the child is the main subject".
- If the stocking name is misspelled, shorten it to the first name only.
