What each part of the prompt does
- A floating dropper
- Leaving out the hand that would hold it removes the hardest part of the shot. A dropper hanging in the air also reads as a deliberate, stylised ad.
- Golden, clear liquid
- Naming the colour and clarity lets the backlight glow through the drop, which is what makes serum look rich instead of like water.
- Wet glass shelf
- Small beads of water on glass add sparkle and a feeling of freshness without bringing in objects that would clutter a narrow frame.
- Detail first, bottle second
- Starting on the drop and pulling back puts the most satisfying moment first and ends on the product, the frame a viewer should remember.
Variations to try
Same idea, one thing changed. These have no clip yet.
Amber bottle on stone A fictional face oil in a small amber glass bottle, no label, logos or text, standing open on a pale travertine block, its glass dropper floating just above it. Motion: slow motion, a single golden drop falls from the dropper onto the stone and spreads slightly. Camera: macro, steady, then a slow pull back to the bottle. Setting and light: warm sand backdrop, hard sunlight with a sharp palm leaf shadow. Style: natural beauty commercial, warm earthy tones. Sound: a soft drip. Duration: 5 seconds, vertical 9:16.
Landscape with two bottles Two fictional serum bottles in clear glass, one with golden liquid and one with pale pink liquid, no labels, logos or text, standing on a wet glass shelf. Motion: a drop falls from a floating dropper beside each bottle, one after the other, each landing with a small splash. Camera: steady at shelf height, slow slide from left to right. Setting and light: soft peach backdrop, diffuse backlight. Style: clean beauty commercial, soft pastel tones. Sound: two soft drips. Duration: 5 seconds.
If the result isn't right
- Leave the label off and add your brand name as text in the edit. Generated labels come out as nonsense letters.
- If the drop falls too fast, put "slow motion" at the start of the motion line instead of asking for a longer clip.
- Match the backdrop to the packaging: sage for green products, lilac for night creams, pale blue for hydration lines.
