What each part of the prompt does
- Product only
- Leaving out a face and hands removes the parts video models struggle with most in close beauty shots. The texture of the gel and the light do the selling instead.
- Hard sun on purpose
- Sunscreen is about sun, so the light is hard and from one side, with real shadows. Soft studio light would make it look like any other cream.
- Leaf shadows that move
- Swaying shadows give the frame motion while the tube stays perfectly still and sharp, which is exactly what a product shot needs.
- Gel colour and clarity
- "Clear pale green gel" describes a lightweight texture. Naming the colour stops the model from defaulting to thick white lotion.
Variations to try
Same idea, one thing changed. These have no clip yet.
Beach towel A fictional sunscreen in an orange and white squeeze tube, no label, logos or text, lying on a white striped beach towel on pale sand. Shot 1: macro, a little white lotion squeezes out of the open cap onto the towel. Shot 2: the camera rises slowly to an overhead view as a small wave reaches the edge of the towel and pulls back. Setting and light: bright midday sun, turquoise water at the top of the frame. Style: premium summer skincare commercial, bright and clean. Sound: gentle waves. Duration: 5 seconds, vertical 9:16.
Landscape with splash A fictional sunscreen in an orange and white squeeze tube, no label, logos or text, standing upright on a wet stone at the edge of a tropical pool. Shot 1: slow motion, a splash of clear water rises behind the tube and falls back in glittering drops. Shot 2: the camera slides slowly left to right across the tube as drops run down its side. Setting and light: hard sun, palm leaf shadows, turquoise water. Style: premium summer skincare commercial, warm and fresh. Sound: a splash, a light breeze. Duration: 5 seconds.
If the result isn't right
- Generated packaging text comes out as nonsense letters, so keep "no label, logos or text" and place your real logo and claims in the edit.
- To match your own tube, describe its shape, cap and colours precisely, or upload a photo of it as a reference image in the studio.
- If the drop never moves, start Shot 1 with "slow motion" and say where it goes: "slides down the cap onto the stone".
- Plan the text before you render: the space above the tube is where a headline fits on a 9:16 screen, so keep the leaves low in the frame if you want room for an SPF claim or a launch date added later.
