What each part of the prompt does

Baton markers, no numerals
Numbers on a dial are text, and video models still warp text. Plain baton markers keep the face clean and believable.
The second hand ticks
One small mechanical motion proves the watch is running and gives the eye a rhythm, while the rest of the object stays still.
Slide, not orbit
A sideways slide close to the case shows the brushed finish catching light at changing angles. Orbiting this close tends to distort the round case.
Dark slate base
A dark, textured surface gives the steel something to reflect and keeps the background from competing with the dial.

Variations to try

Same idea, one thing changed. These have no clip yet.

  • Floating with a reflection

A fictional analogue wristwatch with a brushed steel case, a deep navy dial, slim silver hands and plain baton markers, no logos, numbers or text. Motion: the watch floats above a black mirror surface and turns slowly to face the camera, its reflection turning below it. Camera: steady, slightly below the watch, slow push-in. Setting and light: black studio, a thin white rim light on the case edge. Style: luxury product advert, high contrast. Sound: a low ambient tone. Duration: 5 seconds.

  • Leather strap on oak

A fictional analogue wristwatch with a brushed steel case, a cream dial, slim gold hands, plain baton markers and a tan leather strap, no logos, numbers or text, on a pale oak tray. Motion: the second hand ticks forward, soft window light shifts slowly across the strap. Camera: macro lens, slow slide from the strap stitching to the dial. Setting and light: warm morning window light, soft shadows. Style: heritage product film, warm tones, crisp leather texture. Sound: quiet ticking. Duration: 5 seconds.

If the result isn't right

  • If the hands spin wildly, add "the hour and minute hands stay still" after the motion line.
  • For a gold watch, change both the case and the hands, and warm the key light to match.
  • For a real product, upload your own watch photo as the start frame and keep the first line in the same order: case, dial, hands, markers.
