What each part of the prompt does
- No badges or logos
- Describing the car by era and colour instead of a make keeps the clip free of real brand marks, and "no badges or logos" stops the model from inventing one on the grille.
- Dust shows the speed
- The plume tells the viewer the car is moving and in which direction even when it is small in frame, which a far drone view needs.
- Rise and tilt reveal
- Shot 2 changes what the viewer sees without a cut: the climb opens up the landscape, so the clip ends on a reveal instead of more road.
- Side light at golden hour
- A low sun from the left throws long shadows across the road and sand, adding depth to a view from above that would otherwise look flat.
Variations to try
Same idea, one thing changed. These have no clip yet.
Night with headlights A vintage convertible in faded turquoise, with no badges or logos, drives along an empty two-lane desert road at night, headlights on. Shot 1: high drone shot from behind, the headlights cut two beams through faint dust. Shot 2: the drone rises slowly, revealing a sky full of stars above dark mesas. Setting and light: moonlight, deep blue shadows, warm headlights as the only bright light. Style: cinematic road movie look, cool grade, 35mm film grain. Sound: an engine hum, crickets. Duration: 5 seconds.
Coastal road A vintage convertible in faded turquoise, with no badges or logos, drives along an empty coastal road on a cliff edge. Shot 1: high drone shot from behind, the car follows the road beside a bright blue sea. Shot 2: the drone drifts out over the water and turns back to show the cliffs and the car small on the road. Setting and light: late afternoon sun, sparkling water, white surf below the cliffs. Style: cinematic travel look, warm grade, light haze. Sound: wind and distant waves. Duration: 5 seconds.
If the result isn't right
- If the car changes shape between shots, add "the same car throughout" at the end of Shot 2.
- A straight road is easier for the model than a winding one. Save curves and turns for 10-second clips.
- Swap the turquoise for cherry red when the clip sits next to warm footage in your edit.
