About these prompts

These study prompts turn an AI assistant into a study helper rather than an answer machine: one builds a day-by-day plan to your exam date, one explains a concept at three levels and then quizzes you, and one gives feedback on your essay against the marking criteria without rewriting it.

Each prompt is a template with fields in square brackets for your exam, topics, course and draft. They are written for ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini in the structure that assistant follows best, and they keep the work yours: the tutor waits for your answers, and the essay feedback points to changes instead of writing them.

How to use these prompts

  1. 101Give your real detailsFill in your exam date, topics, weak spots, course level and rubric. A plan or explanation built on your details beats a generic one every time.
  2. 202Work with the answerAnswer the quiz questions, follow the plan for a few days and revise your essay yourself. The prompts are designed for back and forth, not one reply.
  3. 303Check against your courseCompare terms, dates and criteria with your own course materials. Your teacher's wording and rubric are what you are marked on.

Questions

1Is using these prompts cheating?
These prompts are written for learning: planning, explanations, quizzes and feedback that leaves the writing to you. Rules differ between schools and courses, so check your course's policy on AI use.
2Can the AI get facts wrong?
Yes. Assistants can state wrong facts confidently. Check key definitions, formulas and dates against your textbook or notes, especially before an exam.
3Which assistant should students use?
Any of the three free versions works. Each prompt page says which assistant the template was written for, and the formats carry over to the others.
4Do these work for any subject?
Yes. The fields take any subject, level or exam, from school tests to professional certifications. The essay prompt is for written assignments in any course.
