What each part of the prompt does
- Identity as its own sentence
- The prompt opens with a standalone line about both faces and nothing else. A short instruction placed first is easier for the model to follow than a clause buried in a long scene description.
- One shared blanket
- "Wrapped together in one oversized red plaid blanket" physically joins the two people, so the image reads as a couple rather than two friends at a market.
- Cold-weather cues
- Light snow, a glowing tree and "their breath shows in the cold air" all signal the temperature. The visible breath in particular makes an outdoor winter scene believable.
- Laughing, not posing
- "Cheeks close and laughing" gives a candid moment, and with two people a shared laugh hides small mismatches in eye direction that a straight-to-camera pose would expose.

If the result isn't right
- If the blanket swallows someone's chin or mouth, add "blanket around the shoulders only, both faces fully visible".
- Snow can look like white dots stuck on the lens; ask for "soft falling snowflakes, a few in focus, most blurred".
- When one face is sharp and the other soft, request "both faces in sharp focus, only the background lights blurred".
- If cheeks and noses turn bright red like make-up, say "natural skin, only a slight pink from the cold".
