What each part of the prompt does
- New scene, same face
- Everything around the person is generated from scratch, so the identity line carries all the weight: "keep the face exactly the same" comes before any of the scene is described.
- Dress in the palette
- A pale yellow sundress blends with ripe wheat and low sun, giving a soft, nearly single-colour image. A strong red or blue would pull the eye away from the face.
- Hand and breeze
- "Hair moving in a light breeze, one hand brushing the tops of the wheat" adds movement and gives the hand a natural job, two things that make a generated portrait less stiff.
- Sun behind, lens and crop
- "The low sun sits behind them" produces the rim around the hair and the flare. The 85mm lens blurs the field into soft gold, and "framed from the knees up" decides how much of the dress shows in 4:5.
Variations to try
Same idea, one thing changed. These have no example image yet.
Sunflower field Using my uploaded photo, keep the face exactly the same and place the person in a sunflower field at golden hour. They wear a flowing pale yellow sundress, hair moving in a light breeze, one hand touching a sunflower beside them. The low sun sits behind them, creating a warm rim light around the hair and a soft lens flare. Warm, dreamy tones, 85mm lens, shallow depth of field, framed from the knees up in a 4:5 frame.
White linen dress Using my uploaded photo, keep the face exactly the same and place the person in a wheat field at golden hour. They wear a loose white linen dress, hair moving in a light breeze, one hand brushing the tops of the wheat. The low sun sits behind them, creating a warm rim light around the hair and a soft lens flare. Warm, dreamy tones, 85mm lens, shallow depth of field, framed from the knees up in a 4:5 frame.
Rice terraces Using my uploaded photo, keep the face exactly the same and place the person on the edge of green rice terraces at golden hour. They wear a flowing pale yellow sundress, hair moving in a light breeze, one hand brushing the tops of the rice plants. The low sun sits behind them, creating a warm rim light around the hair and a soft lens flare over the terraces. Warm, dreamy tones, 85mm lens, shallow depth of field, framed from the knees up in a 4:5 frame.
If the result isn't right
- If the flare covers your face, ask for "a small lens flare in the top corner, away from the face".
- Wheat can grow to shoulder height and hide the dress; type "wheat at waist height".
- When your hair changes colour in the backlight, add "keep my natural hair colour, only lit at the edges".
- If the face is too dark against the sun, say "soft fill light on the face, as if from a reflector".
