What each part of the prompt does
- The scale is the idea
- "Tiny miniature, the size of a fingertip" sets the joke of the picture. Saying the details stay sharp keeps the item from turning into a blurry blob once it is small.
- Your own packaging
- Listing shape, colours, materials, label and logo tells Gemini to copy the product you uploaded instead of inventing a generic one. Small text is where this goes wrong first, so it is named twice.
- The hand as a prop
- A well-groomed hand with short clean nails reads as an ad, not a snapshot. Allowing only the fingers needed keeps the frame about the product and away from extra hands or arms.
- Ad lighting and focus
- Soft light from above left, a gentle shadow and shallow depth of field are the conventions of a studio product shot. Pointing focus at the label makes the brand the sharpest thing in the image.
Variations to try
Same idea, one thing changed. These have no example image yet.
Balanced on a fingertip Turn the product in my uploaded photo into a tiny miniature balanced upright on the tip of a person's index finger. Keep the product's exact shape, colours, materials, label text and logo, just shrunk to the size of a fingertip, with every detail still sharp. Plain off-white background, soft studio light from above left, a gentle shadow, and a shallow depth of field so the label is the sharpest point. The hand is well-groomed with natural skin texture and short clean nails, and only the fingers needed to hold it are in frame. Clean, high-end advertising photo. Portrait 4:5.
Held with tweezers Turn the product in my uploaded photo into a tiny miniature held carefully in a pair of fine steel tweezers by a hand at the edge of the frame. Keep the product's exact shape, colours, materials, label text and logo, just shrunk to the size of a fingertip, with every detail still sharp. Plain off-white background, soft studio light from above left, a gentle shadow, and a shallow depth of field so the label is the sharpest point. The hand is well-groomed with natural skin texture and short clean nails, and only the fingertips and tweezers are in frame. Clean, high-end advertising photo. Portrait 4:5.
If the result isn't right
- If the label comes back with invented words, reply "copy the label text exactly from my photo"; very long text may still need a shorter label shot.
- When the product looks normal-sized in a giant hand, add "the product is no taller than the fingernail of the thumb".
- Extra fingers or a twisted thumb are a common slip; ask for "one hand, thumb and index finger only, natural anatomy".
- For a darker brand mood, swap the background for "deep charcoal" and keep everything else the same.
