You can sign in with an email and password, or with Continue with Google. Below are the messages you may see and what to do about each.

"Invalid email or password."

The email or the password is wrong; the message does not say which. Check for typos and extra spaces, and try the email you signed up with. Still stuck? Reset your password.

"This account uses Google sign-in. Use Continue with Google, or reset your password to add one."

The account for that email has no password: it was created with Google, or its password was removed when Google was linked (see below). Use Continue with Google, or add a password with the link from /forgot-password.

If you try to sign up with that email instead, you see "This email is registered with Google. Use Continue with Google."

"An account with this email already exists. Sign in instead."

That email already has an account. Sign in, or reset the password if you do not remember it.

"Too many attempts. Wait a few minutes and try again."

Sign-in attempts are limited per email and per network to slow down password guessing. Wait a few minutes. Sign-ups and reset requests have similar limits.

Sign-up errors

  • "That looks like a throwaway inbox." Addresses from temporary or disposable mail services are not accepted. Sign up with an address you will keep using, or continue with Google.
  • "Nothing can be delivered to that domain." The part after the @ is misspelled or has no mail server. Check the address.
  • "This inbox already has an account under another spelling of the address." Gmail ignores dots and anything after a + sign, and most providers ignore the + part, so jane.doe+test@gmail.com reaches the same inbox as janedoe@gmail.com. One inbox gets one account: sign in to the one you have.
  • "The human check did not load." Sign-up runs a short check that you are human. An ad blocker or privacy extension can stop it from loading; turn it off for this site, or continue with Google.
  • "Too many sign-ups from this network. Try again later." Wait and try again, or use Google.

Google sign-in errors

  • "Google did not confirm that email address. Try another account or use a password." We accept Google sign-in only when Google says the email is verified. Verify it with Google, or use a password.
  • "This email is already registered. Sign in with your password." Sign in with your password, or reset it.
  • "Could not reach Google sign-in. Try again." The Google window did not open. Check your connection and try again.
  • "That Google account uses a throwaway or undeliverable address." The Google account was created on a temporary mail service. Pick another Google account, or sign up with your own email.

Confirming your email

After you sign up with an email and password, we send a link to that address. Until you open it, you can browse and read the site, but your account cannot run the prompt tools, start studio jobs, upload, save, share to the gallery, like, check in or buy a plan or credits. The 60 sign-up credits and invite rewards wait for the link too. If you press a run button before confirming, a box shows the address the link went to, with Resend link and Wrong address? Change it. Google sign-ups are confirmed by Google, so they skip this step.

  • No email? Check spam, then choose Send again on the banner at the top of the page. The newest link replaces the older ones.
  • Typo in the address? Choose Wrong address? on the same banner and enter the right one. We check it like a new sign-up and send a fresh link.
  • "This link has run out." Links stay valid for 24 hours. Sign in and ask for a new one.
  • "This link does not work." A newer link replaced it, or the address on the account changed. Use the newest email.

Linking Google to a password account

If you have a password account and later choose Continue with Google with a Google account on the same verified email, Google is linked to your existing account. Your credits, plan and results stay the same.

Your password may be removed

If your email had not been confirmed yet, linking Google removes the password and signs out your other sessions. Signing up does not confirm an email; opening the confirmation link, completing a password reset or linking Google does. This stops someone who signed up with your email before you from keeping access. Afterwards, sign in with Google, or set a new password with the reset flow.

Still stuck

  • Sign-in needs cookies. If your browser blocks them for this site, sign-in does not work.
  • Private browsing and some extensions clear the sign-in cookie when the window closes.

If none of this helps, contact us with the email on your account and the exact message you see.
