Almost everything people write and make here is fine: emails, plans, code reviews, study notes, portraits, product shots, art, short videos, voiceovers and music. The rules below cover the few things we never write or make. They follow the content policy in our Terms, which is the binding version.

Never allowed

  • Sexual or suggestive content involving anyone under 18, in any form. We report it to the authorities.
  • Nude or sexual images of a real, identifiable person, including "undress" or "nudify" requests made from a photo.
  • Graphic violence, encouragement of self-harm, and content that glorifies terrorism or violent extremism.
  • Content that harasses, threatens or incites hatred against people or groups.
  • Deepfakes and other content meant to mislead people about real events, elections, public figures or who said or did something.
  • Content that infringes someone's copyright, trademark or other rights, or impersonates a person or organization.
  • Fraud, scams, spam or anything illegal.

These rules apply to the prompt tools too. A prompt written to get another AI tool to make something on this list is refused the same way as a studio request.

Photos of real people

Upload a photo of a person only if it is you or you have their permission. Studio tools that put two people together, such as kiss and hug videos, need the consent of every adult pictured. Photos of anyone under 18 may be uploaded only by a parent or legal guardian, and never for romantic, sexual or violent content. The same goes for pictures you add to image to prompt.

How requests are checked

  • Prompt tools: your idea, and any note or image you add, is checked before the prompt is written. A blocked request is not counted against your free prompts.
  • Studio: before a generation starts and before any credits are taken, we check the prompt. On studio tools that is the full prompt built from your fields, which you can read under "Prompt sent to the model". Photos are checked too. A blocked request costs nothing.
  • Model providers run their own safety filters on prompts, photos and results. When one rejects a studio job, it shows "Blocked by the safety filter".

Why was my request blocked explains each message and what happens to your credits.

Shared items

Nothing you make is public until you press Share. Public pages have a stricter bar than private use: nothing adult (18+), graphic or self-harm related goes in the gallery or the prompt library, even if it was fine to make privately. Every gallery item has a Report button that works without an account, and an item is hidden once 3 different people report it, or straight away when it is reported for involving a minor. It stays hidden until we review it.

If your likeness was used without your consent, use the Report button or contact us and we will review it and take it down.
