Accounts that have never subscribed pay less for their first month on one plan.
Pro billed monthly is $15.20 for the first month, then $19 a month, for accounts that have never had a subscription. The discount is applied at checkout.
Who qualifies
The discount applies when all of these are true:
- you choose the plan named above,
- you choose monthly billing,
- your account has never had a subscription, including one that was later cancelled.
On the pricing page, that plan's card shows the first month price while monthly billing is selected. Signed-out visitors see it too; whether it applies to you is checked when you sign in and start checkout.
How checkout applies it
Stripe checkout adds the discount for you, so there is nothing to type. A checkout that carries this discount has no promotion code field, because Stripe does not allow both on the same checkout.
The discount covers the first invoice only. From the second month, the plan renews at its regular monthly price until you change plans or cancel.
Credits in the first month
The discount lowers the price, not the credits. The first invoice adds the plan's full monthly credits, the same as every later month.

If you change your mind
- Cancel with Cancel plan on the Billing page before the second month to avoid the regular price. The plan stays active until the end of the first month and your credits stay. See Cancel your subscription.
- Refunds of the discounted payment follow Requesting a refund; the amount refunded is what you paid.
- Switching plans happens in the billing portal. A higher plan, or a move from monthly to yearly billing on the same plan, applies at once: you pay the price difference and get the matching credits straight away. A lower plan, or a move from yearly to monthly billing, starts at your next renewal.
