Everything in the gallery was shared on purpose by the person who made it. If something there breaks the rules, report it.

  1. Open the item in the gallery and select Report.

  2. Under "What is wrong with it?", choose a reason.

  3. Add details if they help, such as who is pictured or what the item copies. This is optional.

  4. Select Send report.

You do not need to be signed in. There is a limit on how many reports one person or network can send in an hour.

Reasons

  • Sexual or nude content
  • Involves a minor
  • Uses someone's likeness without consent
  • Violence or terror
  • Copyright or trademark
  • Something else

Pick the closest one and use the details box for the rest.

What happens after a report

  • A report for Involves a minor hides the item from the gallery straight away.
  • Any other item is hidden once 3 different people have open reports on it.
  • A hidden item stays out of the gallery until we review it. Then we either keep it hidden or put it back and close the reports.
  • We can also hide items ourselves and turn off generation for accounts that keep breaking the rules.

We do not reply to every report. If you need an answer, contact us as well.

Your own likeness

If an item uses your face or photo without your consent, report it with Uses someone's likeness without consent, then contact us with a link to the item and a short note that it shows you. We review it and take it down.

The prompt library

Prompts in the prompt library are picked and published by us. If one of them breaks the rules or uses your work, contact us with a link to its page.

Results that are not shared are private to the person who made them, so there is nothing public to report. If you believe someone is using the service to make prohibited content, such as sexual content involving a minor, contact us with what you know. We report that content to the authorities.

Note

If an item you shared was hidden and you think that was a mistake, see Appealing a decision.
