Prompt Generator has three places to work. They share one account and one credit balance, but each one decides a different amount for you.

Prompt tools

The prompt tools write a prompt; they do not make the image or video. You describe an idea, choose the AI tool it is for, and copy the result into that tool. They are free up to a daily allowance and work without an account.

Use them when you already work in ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Midjourney, Veo or another tool and want a better prompt for it. Image and video prompts can also go straight to the studio with Run in studio. See Using the prompt tools.

Studio tools

A studio tool is a page set up for one job, such as a headshot, a product photo, a background change or a photo brought to life as video. Each one has:

  • a fixed mode, such as photo editing or image to video,
  • a default model, and often a short list of other models that suit the job,
  • a prompt written for the job, filled in from simple fields such as backdrop, outfit or setting,
  • the right upload box, for example one or several photos of the same person.

Open Prompt sent to the model under the settings to read the full prompt your fields produce. Our content check reads that full prompt too.

Some video tools take either one photo with both people or two separate photos. With two, the tool first combines them into one frame with an image model, then animates that frame. Both steps are charged when you press Generate, both are refunded if either fails, and the button shows the total.

Styles and video effects work the same way: a preset look or motion applied to your prompt or photo.

The studio

The studio is the open workspace. You choose:

  • the mode: create image, edit photo, upscale, remove background, text to video, image to video, lip sync, text to speech or music,
  • any model that supports that mode,
  • your own prompt, aspect ratio, video length and, on models that allow it, the number of images.

Each model page also has a generator locked to that model, which is a quick way to try one model on its own.

Which to use

  • You use another AI tool: prompt tools. Copy the prompt and paste it where you work.
  • A studio tool matches your job: use it. It is the fastest way to a good result, especially from a photo of a person.
  • You want full control or to compare models: the studio, with a prompt from the prompt tools or your own.

A good loop: write an image prompt with the image prompt generator, press Run in studio, try it on two models, then refine the prompt and run it again.
