Credits from signup, plans, top-ups, invites and accepted templates do not expire. They roll over from month to month and stay in your balance until you spend them. Credits from the daily check-in and the credits that come with Lifetime are the exceptions.

Check-in credits

Credits you claim from the daily check-in on the free credits page expire 30 days after you claim them. They are spent before your other credits, oldest first. Whatever is left when they expire is removed and shows as "Check-in expired" on your Credits page.

Lifetime credits

The 10,000 credits that come with Lifetime are valid for 12 months from the payment. They are spent before your credits that do not expire, and whatever is left at the end is removed and shows as "Lifetime credits expired" on your Credits page. The prompt tools that come with Lifetime do not expire.

One balance

Your account has one credit balance, shown on the Credits page and in the studio. Every credit that comes in (signup, plans, top-ups, check-ins, rewards and refunds) adds to it, and every studio generation or paid prompt run takes from it.

When you cancel

Cancelling stops future payments. The plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for, then the account goes back to free. Your balance stays and you can keep spending it. See Cancel your subscription.

When a payment fails

If a renewal payment fails, no credits are added for that period, and the account works like a free account until the payment goes through. Credits already in your balance stay. See Failed payments.

When credits are removed

Credits leave your balance only when:

  • you spend them on a studio generation or a prompt run past the free allowance (failed ones are refunded),
  • check-in or Lifetime credits expire, as described above,
  • a payment is refunded, in which case the credits it added are removed (see Requesting a refund); a full Lifetime refund removes the Lifetime credits you have not spent,
  • a charge is disputed with your bank, which can lead to the credits from that payment being removed,
  • you close your account, which ends the balance with it,
  • an account is closed for breaking the Terms, in which case its credits are forfeited and credits gained by abusing refunds can be reversed.

Credits have no cash value

Credits are a prepaid right to use the service. They cannot be transferred, sold or exchanged for money, and are refundable only as the refund policy or the law says. Free credits are never refunded.
