Commercial use

The rule is in the Terms, under Results and ownership: results you create while on a paid plan, or after you have bought credits, may be used commercially. Results created only with free credits are for personal, non-commercial use.

What that means

• On a paid plan: results you create may be used in ads, product listings, thumbnails, client work, merchandise and other paid work.
• After buying credits: a top-up counts as buying credits, so results you create after one may be used commercially too.
• Only free credits: results made only with the signup credits, check-in credits or other free credits are for personal use.

Commercial use is not a separate license you buy. It comes with paying for the service.

Prompts and other tools

This rule is about results made in our studio. When you copy a prompt into ChatGPT, Midjourney, Veo or another tool, that tool's own terms decide what you may do with its output.

Check before you publish

Owning a result does not clear everything in it. You are responsible for how you use it. Before it goes into anything public or paid:

• Real people. If the result shows a real person, you need their permission to use their likeness, the same as with a photo. See What you can create.
• Brands and characters. A trademark, logo or character that shows up in a result still belongs to its owner.
• Similar results. Other people can get similar results from similar prompts, so a result may not be unique to you.
• Labels. Where the law requires AI-generated media to be labelled, label it. See Attribution and labelling.
• Truth. Do not present a result as a real photo or recording of an actual event, for example a product photo that shows features the product does not have.

Model providers

Each model provider's content policy also applies to results from its models. The model name is shown on every result and each model page names the company behind it.

Your own API key

Studio jobs that run on your own OpenRouter or fal key are billed by that provider under its own terms, which apply to those jobs alongside ours.
